Are there any items that Tunxis Community College Library will not request on interlibrary loan?
Answer
Each library determines which materials it will borrow or loan. Most books and magazine and journal articles can be requested through interlibrary loan.
The following material cannot be borrowed through interlibrary loan:
- Material that is already available in our collection
- Textbooks
- Whole issues of a periodical or journal
- Articles available in full text in our periodical databases
- Other material as determined by the lending library or library staff
