I'd like to request a book from the Library's collection. What are my options?

Answer

Current MCC students, faculty and staff can request physical library items (books, DVDs, etc.) through the Library's catalog, MCC Search. Follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Go to MCC Search: http://library.ct.edu/mcc
  2. Sign in with your NetID and password in the upper right corner of the screen

  3. Search for the item you'd like to borrow or browse by keyword

  4. Click on the title of the item you'd like to request

  5. Click on the "Request from Manchester" button/link

A message will be sent to your college email when your item is ready. When you receive the message, you can stop into the Library when we're open. If you're unable to come to campus email us to discuss other options.  

To request other items such as textbooks on reserve and equipment, please call the Library (860-512-2880) or contact us through email.
