How long does it take for ILL requests to arrive?

I ordered a book from another library a few days ago. How long will be take to arrive?

Answer

The interlibrary loan (ILL) service lets you order books, articles and other materials that aren't available in the Raymond F. Damato Library's collection. You can place these requests on the Library's website. You can also request articles as well as physical items owned by other CSCU Libraries through our catalog (MCC Search).

Requests for physical items usually take between 3 and 10 days. If the item is owned by another CSCU library, however, the wait is typically shorter. In both cases, you will be notified via email when your requested item has arrived. Requests for articles and book chapters are usually sent electronically and typically filled in 1-3 days.
