Do I need to pay the interlibrary loan service in the library? How long can I get the materials from the interlibrary loan service?
Answer
Interlibrary loan depends very much on the library that lets us borrow their materials. They tell us if there are any fees (generally there are not) and when they need to have the materials sent back to them. Our Interlibrary Loan coordinator, Shauna Carrano, will let you know if there are any fees before she orders the item. When the item comes in, she'll call you to let you know that it's available, and tell you where to pick it up. To request an interlibrary loan, fill out a request form at either campus library, call us on the phone (203 285-2057 Long Wharf; 203 285-2340 North Haven), or send us an email at library@gwcc.commnet.edu. We'll be happy to help you out!
