How to I connect my Chromebook to the WiFi?

Connect Chromebook to Wi-Fi:

  1. Sign in to the Admin console of the Chromebook
  2. Click Device Management > Chrome Management > Network.
  3. Choose For Devices so that the Wi-Fi network can be accessed by all users of the device.
  4. Click Add Wi-Fi. The Add Wi-Fi network dialog appears.
  5. Use the following information:
    • Name: Customer defined (can be anything)
    • Security Type: WPA Enterprise
    • SSID: ConnSCU Internet
    • EAP Method: PEAP
    • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
    • Server CA certificate: Do not check
    • Identity: NetID (xxxxxxxx@student.commnet.edu)
    • Password: password
    • Anonymous identity: leave blank
  6. Click Save to close the dialog.
  7. Click Save changes. Your network configuration appears in the list under Settings.
